From intimate dinners to momentous occasions, great food is at the center of life's celebrations. Each event Great Performances executes is singularly crafted so that what shines most is the experience; the gathering of people together, enhanced with artful food and excellent service. With more than 25 years in the hospitality industry, Great Performances has developed long standing relationships with some of the most beautiful and unique event spaces in New York including BAM, the Apollo Theater and the Grand Ballroom at The Plaza Hotel. Committed to providing quality food for all New Yorkers, Great Performances works with many local charities. An extension of this dedication, Great Performances founded The Sylvia Center, a non-profit education center dedicated to inspiring young people to eat well through farm visits and hands on garden-to-table workshops in New York City. Great Performances is honored to join Asphalt Green as a partner and to work together to bring health, happiness and food to the community of Battery Park City and beyond.
